On a very cold March 1st St Davids Day Mrs. Peggy Davies Yr Hen Fenwy Fach o Cydwelli was at the castle in full Welsh costume. Peggy gave us a lot of her time even singing to us. This was most welcome by our American visitor Swansea Jack AKA WWW wrestling celebrity and hard man. He appeared to be calmed by her voice and accepted some Welshcakes and sweets without the need to mug anyone. Peggy and her friend Ray Davies (not Kinks) were a credit to Kidwelly. Diolch o Galon.
